Women's Capes, Cloaks, and Shawls
After 1570 cloaks became very fashionable, with a variety of styles and lengths. Some reached just below the waist, while others went almost to the feet. Cloaks were worn in various ways: over both shoulders, slung from one shoulder, or diagonally across the back.
