This beautiful deep green velvet gown has a high waist, which was popular in Italy during the early 1500's. The gown flares out below the waistline into a 6-panel skirt. Underneath the flowing sheer black lace sleeves is a tightly fit velvet sleeve that ends in a "V" over the back of your hand. The gown laces up the back with a modesty panel from the same fabric. Black braiding graces the neckline.
This is an absolutely stunning one-of-a-kind gown! I haven't been able to get a picture that captures the true beauty of this gown. |
