A good choice for just about all periods - from Viking to Renaissance. These knee-high boots feature a 1/2" wedge heel and rubber sole for comfort and durability. The simple design wraps around the leg and laces shut. The boots are made from microfiber that some people describe as faux-suede (I think it looks more like felt or wool - which is perfect for peasant and Viking outfits).
