The European Renaissance Shirt features buttoned cuffs and ties at the collar. The slashed sleeves reminds you of the 'Landsknecht' period costumes (ca 1520-1540). The clothing the Landsknechte wore is often called "Puff and Slash", because the outer fabric or garment was slashed and then fabric under that was then pulled through to for form puffs of that fabric, often a contrasting fabric. Our shirts are black with white fabric showing through the sleeves. Wear alone or under a sleeveless Renaissance doublet.
- Please note: These shirts are cut VERY generously through the chest (about 20" more than your measurements). If you don't want too much fabric, consider ordering the next smaller size
- Large: Chest 42"; Sleeves 27", Length 31"
