This Edwardian-inspired dress is made up in a silky lavender fabric which is lovingly detailed with rich Venice lace. The bodice sports a flattering deep “V” detail front and back and the short overskirt provides the illusion of a peplum. Venice lace trims out the neckline and provides interesting detail on the sleeves and the hem of the overskirt. A second overskirt drops to a “V” in front, and a square drape at the back – also trimmed out in Venice lace. A comfortable elastic waist is hidden by a self-belt, which has a button closure at the back. This outfit would be equally suitable for strolling the deck of the Titanic or having tea with friends.
